Join us at BAM Vintage & Coffee in Glasgow's Southside for an evening of creative bookbinding!

Using traditional tools and techniques, you'll learn how to sew together your own beautiful book under the guidance of a professional bookbinder. BAM is a beautiful space to work, and have a wonderful selection of cakes and coffees!

We'll be bringing an abundance of bookcloths, decorative papers and linen threads for you to work with, meaning that each one will be unique and yours to take home.

This practical workshop will give you an introduction into the tools, materials and processes involved in binding your own books. We'll be using professional equipment and traditional skills, and you'll leave with two books and the knowledge to make your own books at home.

This workshop forms part of the current BIND exhibition in the Review Gallery. This exhibition brings together different book structures, bound using traditional and contemporary materials and processes.
